# Prior

> Prior is a predictive intelligence platform by Prior Software Inc. It helps people anticipate outcomes — sports, markets, business decisions, and personal questions — by gathering real-time context, researching current public information, running weighted scenario analysis, and producing a clear verdict with the drivers and conditions that would flip the outcome.

Prior is proprietary software built and operated by Prior Software Inc. (Delaware, United States). It is designed for research purposes only and does not provide financial, medical, legal, or betting advice; users make their own decisions.

## How it works

1. A person asks any question about a future event or decision.
2. Prior asks short, high-impact follow-up questions to gather context, one at a time.
3. It researches current public information on the web and factors in the person's relevant past predictions.
4. It divides 100 points across the outcomes it considered; the highest-weighted outcome becomes the verdict.
5. It delivers one report: the verdict first, then weighted outcomes, key drivers, flip conditions, supporting context, and suggested actions.
6. When real money is at stake and the person supplies figures, the report includes a modelled upside and downside range in their currency.

## Plans

- Pay as you go: $1.00 per credit, no monthly fee. Credits never expire. An account is required to use Prior.
- Standard: $29/month, 10 predictions per week.
- Max: $99/month, 30 predictions per week.
- Ultra: $499/month, unlimited predictions.

Pricing is USD only. Accounts keep a personal archive and an accuracy record (hit rate) across resolved predictions.
